Travel has become such a hassle, between the long lines, limited leg room, baggage fees, that by the time you get to your destination you might just feel you need a vacation from your vacation!  Whether you need to destress while on vacation or just looking for a little fun, a vibrator should be an essential part of your packing – right alongside the travel toothbrush and mini hairdryer.

If you are packing light and wish to conceal your vibrator in your carry-on, you may be concerned about it making it’s way discreetly through security.  But many vibes are now discreet and VERY travel-friendly! Size matters!  Although you may long to bring your Hitachi Magic Wand with you, if space is an issue we really don’t recommend you carry any vibrator over 5″.

For hygienic reasons, pack your vibrator in a toy safe, discreet bag. We like the Safe Sex Toy Bag from Blush – it’s made of an antibacterial material that’ll also keep your toy free from lint.

USB Rechargeable is the way to go!  Why hassle with batteries, when you can charge your vibrator before you go!  Run out of power?  No problem, simply charge it via any USB device – no need to worry about converters.  For best results, make sure your vibrator locks to make sure the only thing buzzing in security is you!  Almost all rechargeable vibrators have a travel lock on them. Or if it’s a battery operated toy, simply removing the batteries will avoid any possibility of embarrassment . Just remember any toy with a lithium ion battery is not allowed on an airplane.

Conceal your vibrator!  Particularly if you are traveling to a country where vibrators are illegal (that means most of the Middle East and parts of Africa), no one wants to have their vibrator confiscated.  You may want to consider checking your bag if you’re afraid it’s going to be an issue.  We also like the Screaming O line of Lipstick, Mascara and Lip Balm vibrators that fit right into your make up bag.  For best results, make sure you remove the batteries before you go through security.  Happy trails!
