Fantasy Gifts NJ is marking International Women’s Day this year by calling on all women to #EmbraceEquity. International Women’s Day is a global day for celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. And while there can be no mistaking that women have made some significant strides since the day was officially designated by the United Nations in 1975, when it comes to sex and sexuality, it is clear that women still have significant strides to make to get them on more equal footing with men.
It can be easy to be discouraged. Equity isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a must-have and it is critical to understand the difference between equity and equality!
