Why Use a Ball Gag?

A ball gag can be used by both men and women. Ball gags, like most BDSM toys, are all about trust. When you remove the power of speech from your partner, they must trust that they can communicate and be heard by you in other ways. When using a ball gag, make sure you have a safe signal rather than a safe word. Ball gags are also about humiliation. You are forcing your partner to be silent and the sight of a ball gag in your partner’s mouth can be very erotic. Ball gags come in several varieties. Solid, breathable and bit ball gags (which are similar to what horses and trainers use) are all common. Breathable ball gags and bit ball gags allow air to enter your partner’s mouth and are usually deemed safer. Ball gags come in a variety of materials, including plastic, rubber, silicone and even candy!
