If you don’t follow us on social media (and you SHOULD), you might not have caught that I was chosen as one of the amazing brand ambassadors for Womanizer! I was genuinely excited because most of my experience with Womanizer has been positive (sure there might be a thing or two that didn’t work out for me, but overall I’d be lying if I didn’t say they were my favorite brand and the only thing in my bedside table). One of the products I received in my welcome box was the Starlet 3 – one of the products I didn’t currently own yet have been very curious about. You might think “if you have one, you have them all” but even if every product from a line has the same motor for vibrations, the material (and how much of it) and the other functions might change the way you physically perceive the sensations from those motors. Even with Womanizer’s Pleasure Air technology, being a smaller and more affordable version, I began to wonder how different is the Starlet 3 from the others in the Womanizer line. And just like any starlet – it was my (and her) time to shine!
Lights, Camera… Functions

Imagine: Starlet 3 at an audition (or go-see for my ANTM watchers – and yes, we know the issues from that show, it doesn’t change the fact that millennials watched it and know this phrase) and the first thing you notice is her smaller, ergonomic figure made of ABS plastic and a silicone head. Two buttons on her back, a larger + symbols and a smaller – symbol are easily seen (and felt) so you know what you’re touching without even looking (that’s hot). You’ll see two shiny dots on the back intended for magnetic charging (and you notice the charge itself is flatter than others meaning it will be easier to stay on during it’s charge). Some things you notice might be missing that you would have seen with Miss Premium 2 and Miss Next would be interchangeable heads and storage bags, but that’s okay because she’s just a beginner and for beginners, the simpler, the better. She may not be a ‘triple threat’ with only different intensities of Pleasure Air, but people don’t want the morse code sensations anyway. The hope is she can turn heads and curl toes with those intensities alone. The only thing that would likely have you bypass her is those buttons you thought were attractive…. you see, you use them to also turn on and off the toy, but you have to hold them down. It’s not as obvious and if you aren’t familiar with her, you’d misunderstand her too quickly. Is she the one for this part?
From Tease to Finale in Multiple Speeds
Giddier than a celebrity getting their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, I gently opened the safety seal box and pulled out the Starlet 3. Do I ever charge it ahead of using it? No, that my beige flag, I’ll admit it. But knowing I’ve gotten off on shorter battery life from my Premium & Next, I was eager to give her a chance. I do my first screen test with her by just checking out the buttons and figuring out what they do. As simple as they are, I am just as bad as any other person who doesn’t read the instructions first (whoops). But I do at least try to figure it out before actually using it (not that it helps… I should read the directions). But once I got it, we took to center stage and began the show. As quickly as Pleasure Air gets me to the finale, the Starlet 3 was no different however, you can tell the intensity of the higher setting was about mid-range for the A-listers I’ve already had the opportunity to work with. This was NOT a problem – in fact, being that it did feel gentler on me and I still hit my personal goal of the standing (laying) O-vation, it was nice to know I could still get there on less intense sensations.
Your Personal Red-Carpet Performance
The question of where does Starlet 3 belong in the “Good, Better, Best” line-up doesn’t seem too relevant anymore. It may not have all the bells and whistles than her sister toys from the Womanizer line, however the Pleasure Air is just as good quality and consistently works like them. If anything, she is definitely a toy for beginners or who do prefer the softer sensations compared to the stronger ones provided by the Premium and Next. It’s not “Good, Better, Best”, rather “what works best for me.” She will give you the performance of the lifetime if this review sounds like something you’d enjoy. So get out there and give our darling Starlet 3 some admiration!
