Nu Sensuelle has been the only brand we’ve carried for the past couple of years with the old school panty vibe set. You know, the only that comes with the tied at the side lace underwear and the lipstick shaped bullet that you slip into the fabric part of the crotch? Yea, that one. Well, FINALLY they came out with a new panty vibe called the Lyra! This one is similar to the others we carry: magnetic clip to hold onto and ergonomically shaped for all body types (yes, even penis owners could benefit from wearing them). They also share the fact that they are app controlled, but no physical remote like some other panty vibes out there. I was more excited to see how easy it was to use the app than the product itself but of course comparisons will be had all around!
Vibe Sync

Okay, I need to take a second to like of give the side-eye to the name of the app for the Nu Sensuelle Lyra – vibe sync (yes, all lowercase in the App Store). Being someone that works in the industry, my brain takes that name and goes directly to thinking about another brand that has the word ‘vibe’ in their name as well as their own app. It’s not exactly my favorite name choice in my personal opinion, but apps can change their names so finger crossed it might come one day (what about SensuApp or something like that?). The other side-eye moment is something I’m actually directing towards Google Apps. They are NOT very sex positive and remove anything slightly related to pleasure or adult toys so of course as soon as it was uploaded to Google, it got taken down. They are working on censoring it a bit to get it back up, but that mean the interface or even some features may not be as pretty or user friendly. This is not the first app/company to have this issue with Google so this one I can’t blame Nu Sensuelle for, nor would I ever. But, because of this, no one who owns an Android will be able to us this product (and there is no other remote to replace).
As I mentioned, it is a pretty simple and user friendly app! I found that connecting it was very easy and I had no issues sharing or inviting King Big Cream to have access to the Lyra. Aesthetically it’s not my favorite, but regardless, it works pretty well and again, very easy to use!
Vibe Out
Obviously, this type of vibrator is fun for a night out in public (or in mine and Big Cream’s case, just freely moving around our house while our children are out or asleep). That being said, none of the panty vibes created are going to be super strong.. they don’t need anyone vibrating off the pews during church, ya know? It’s supposed to be discreet! Basically, I already had the expectation that I wasn’t going to reach that big O from the Nu Sensuelle Lyra alone, but of course it was fun letting Cream take control while I was doing random stuff at the house. If you’re like me, my spontaneous desire isn’t exactly what it used to be and now I take longer to get there, so playing throughout the day is really helpful and is sometimes more fun than the other things.
Would I recommend the Nu Sensuelle Lyra? It is a little more wallet friendly compared to our ‘best’ line, but it doesn’t come with a physical remote (and I am a SUCKER for actual remotes). But if that doesn’t bother you, then it might be the better option (plus you don’t have to worry about losing said remote). And the vibrations are decent for their level 2 motors, but again, not going to get you off unless you are THAT sensitive. It’s an option and if you love Nu Sensuelle, it’s definitely going to be a great addition to your collection!
