I know I usually start off my blogs with the reason I might be picking a product to review. It could be pure personal interest, something my coworkers want covered, uncertainty of a product’s features, or because TikTok made me. This is the one time I forget why I chose the Lovense Vulse and honestly, even after tying out those reasons, nothing is clicking. So this is probably the first wild card review I’ve done?! The good thing about that is I think I can genuinely say I am not (super) biased in using the Vulse before actually getting to know it.

Thrust or Bust?
So, maybe that last line was a lie. For those of you who don’t know, I am not a fan of insertable things. It just doesn’t so it for me and sometimes if too close to my cervix it can hurt (and I get paranoid my IUD is gonna get pulled out). I will admit, the Lovense Vulse was a little less scary because it only adds a small amount of additional length to a thrust (10 mm or 1 cm). After adding some of my favorite lube, this thrusting egg didn’t feel as uncomfortable as I was expecting (bonus points). The only other bias I hold that make it hard for me to enjoy some of these products is the fact that it’s solely app controlled. Wait, lemme tell you about that before anything else!
Pre-Plan Every Time

First off… I had to UPDATE the Lovense Vulse. Literally it’s not an app update, there is software in the Vulse that had to be updated too. What???? Okay, I guess that does make sense but still, annoying. Then, it didn’t reconnect right away so that was also kinda annoying. It was only a turn off/turn back on situation but it said it would reconnect on it’s own in 7-8 seconds (it did not). Fine for now, but if I was in the moment with Cream, it would have been messed up a little. Then, of course, I had to relearn how to use the app because that definitely updated since I last used it myself. Which isn’t technically hard, but there are so many features and I really just don’t like using my phone for the control cause it’s a distraction for me. Anywho, the thrusting wasn’t terrible and I certainly did not feel threatened by it going near my cervix, but it still wasn’t as stimulating as I needed. Even though I did end up eventually using another toy to orgasm, I ultimately didn’t mind the additional sensation of the thrusting.. it was kinda nice!
As far as recommending the Lovense Vulse, I’ll actually recommend reading my post from August 2023 about how Lovense probably is more made for certain people in mind (and no I’m not JUST referencing cam girls). But if you’re not interested in an additional read, basically you are investing in a product that can do SO MUCH but some of that stuff is an additional charge and/or good for people who not only use it long distance, but like strangers using it or using it with AI or VR experiences. Overall, I think this is a super niche product and for sure one of a only a few when it comes to thrusting eggs (if not the only kind), but I think there are better options for more wallet-friendly prices unless you are ready and willing to make that investment.
