Lady Genevieve with the Sexy Scoop on Pegging

Lady Genevieve

The best part about writing this blog is that I am just as much a newbie to toys and experiences as some of you are and I hope this puts those of you at ease and motivates you to take the next step into trying new things!  One of the things I don’t have much experience with pegging (oh, I hope all of your eyes widened for this one). I’ve always been interested in it, but up until recently – probably due to a greater interest in prostate milking – many men I’ve been with haven’t had much interest in it or fears of a stigma following it.  I get it, there’s still a push for the understanding that it is pleasurable for straight men and not just a gay man’s BUT FOR THE RECORD not all gay men like it either so we can squash that right there. Introducing pegging into Lance’s and my sex life took quite some time. I do have some experience with a strap-on with women, but that is still minimal.  I also have had the experience of anal play before – which Lance and I had introduced into our routine as I had mentioned before. But how did we finally decide to introduce this to our after school activities? We communicated! He jokingly dared me to bring one home and if I had the balls to do it, he would consider it. He seems to have forgotten how massive my balls are and how easily I have access to strap-ons and dildos.  We started by using the dildo in place of our usual prostate massage so he would get used to it and eventually he asked me to put it on and give it a try. I let HIM tell me when HE was ready. It was pretty amazing, but in the newness of it – as much experience as I have with toys and sex in general – it was still kind of awkward (yes, awkward sex still happens to me). Lance actually enjoyed it despite me slipping out a couple of times… what.. I cant feel if I’m missing it or not!

Since my interest in strap-ons and pegging, I’ve never been sure about what to use, especially since I’ve had mixed reviews about every single strap-on available.  And despite my minimal experience prior to pegging, I had not owned the strap-on myself so I had to find one that works for me. I decided to go with the traditional route (if you wanna call it that) with something that wraps around my legs and clips on nicely without friction to my vulva (just in case).  I tried a couple on and the one that really felt comfortable and secure for me was the Sportsheets Plus Size Red Lace with Satin Corsette Strap-on. Not only is it a beautiful piece – and I am a huge sucker for red – it has soft padding and sturdy clips that aren’t too tight and didn’t cause any friction or burns to my skin when in use. The picture on the box is kind of deceiving because one would assume that it would come undone, but the corset look to it is more decorative than functional (though I was able to play with it at the risk of messing up its secure nature). This strap-on also came with several cock rings to hold in various sizes of dildos which is nice so you don’t have to purchase any additional ones if you want to switch it up!  Just to test out the rings, I picked up a few other various sizes laying around my room and had no issues placing them in the other rings and attaching them. Adding your dildo onto or off the strap-on in VERY simple with few snapping clips, making it feel that much more secure.

I decided to pair this strap-on with the Sportsheets Please flared-base dildo.  I went with this one in particular because it is on a smaller/skinnier end (again since I waited for his call, I wanted to make sure it was as far from scary as possible).  It is made with mostly silicone, but other plastics, so if that is a concern for you, there are other options when looking for the perfect size! Avoid silicone lubes to be on the safe side – luckily, we have and used System Jo H2O Anal lube which is a little thicker than the normal water-based lube from Jo – A PERFECT PAIR. Another reason I chose this dildo was because it was very smooth and not as phallic shaped to ease Lance away from the idea that this is a “penis”.

Pegging may be gaining more mainstream popularity, but is still somewhat taboo and scary for people, interested in trying it or not.  I can tell you all about every single strap-on, dildo, and insertable strap-on dildos we own, but the most important aspect of pegging is communication with your partner.  I can say that I do feel like it is worth giving it a try when all parties are comfortable and Sportsheets is THE best when it comes to strap-ons and pegging (did I mention they made a couples pegging kit)!

Stay Sexual!
